Demon Priest is a mini-boss that can be found in the Curse Rooms.

Behavior

This mini-boss has two different phases. Once Isaac depletes its health bar, the boss' mask break and the second phase begins with a new half filled health bar.

Phase 1

During this phase, it slowly flies across the room in straight diagonal lines while randomly firing telegraphed Brimstone beams towards Isaac followed by 4 more beams with random rotation and 90° angle between them.

Phase 2

During this phase, it stops firing 4 beams and instead will spam beams towards Isaac with a much shorter telegraph.

Upon death, the Demon Priest fires 8 medium range Brimstone Beams in diagonal and cardinal directions. If killed in a Curse room, drops one of the following sets of rewards:

• 1 Random Collectible
• 2 Black hearts
• 3 Black Sacks

Trivia

• Demon Priest is basically a harder variant of the Arch Bishop also commonly found in Curse Rooms.
