Mimic

Mimic is a mini-boss that has a chance to show up when opening a Mega Chest

If you want to avoid fighting one, putting a key does a different sound on a Mimic than a Mega Chest. A mimic does the regular chest opening sound instead of the locked chest one.

Behavior

This mini-boss will repeat the same attack until it dies, which consist of spewing blood shots in all direction as well as spawning 2-3 Spiders if there are less than 4 spiders in the room. Upon death, the Mimic drops a bunch of Pickups as well as two Items.
